Freedom Statement

Important Note
Recently (2001 C.E.) the Sumus Pontiphex of the Roman Partriarchate of the Catholic Church send apologies to the International Jewish Community for the participation of the Catholic Church in the Nazi Atrocities during the WWII and near that occasion, this one, The Pope John Paul II, at the St. Peter basilic at Vatican, asked to Christ for forgiveness for all the crimes of the church against several ethno-cultural religious and ethnical groups who was victms of the "Christ's love" with this words:

"Forgive us, our God, for we failed in a terrible way to spread
a religious of love and Tolerance in this world."

(With his court of cardinals) "Mea Culpa! Mea Culpa! Mea Maxima Culpa!"

We understand however that this is not enough! They just admited that they are guilty of crimes that still being told in the history. They did NOTHING to indemnizate every prosecuted religion and cultures that was damaged, or even exterminated!!! However, we also understand that no matter how short or long an path may be, every voyage must begin with a first step. And although this is nothing in therms of reparation of the errors (they even do not asked us for forgiveness, just THEIR god) commited by them, we must note that the actions of the pope was extreme powerful in order to avoid an even dark future by the bloody hands of kristendoom! In the Canonical Lawn System, the Church was considered Infalible at the same status of the christian scriptures. It means that, every action of church, according to their religion, was right and good, no matter how much atrocities the church may commit. But with this act, The Pope John Paul II showed an incredible act of responsability and the first act of humanity from a pope toward non-christians. With a Summus Pontiphex recognizing the errors of the Church, the Canonical Lawn that the Church never commit any errors and are infalible is now invalid!

Even if John Paul II example is not followed by the entire kristendoom, we hope that this is a first step to make christianity one day in the future, an respectable religion that respect other cultures and religions without no conspiracy, and no prosecution.

We don't pretend that just with this manifest, we alone made the pope and the Church commit that mentioned act. However, we believe that at least each one of us did our part in the whole of the problem, and we who did SOMETHING about this, become a part of history! We all who promoted this manifest, did our part to make people aware that if one want respect, that one must learn first how to respect others. However, the work is not ended! While there still christian churchs and leaders who promote religious, racial and cultural intolerance with direct prosecution with violence or with subtile economical conspiracy, we non christians, no matter if asatruar or not, who are thirsty of Freedom, will NOT surrender and NOT fall in silence! The merits for such historical change are in each person of the humankind who REALLY fighted for Freedom, Equality and Fraternity and not made themselves in the cowardice of stagnation generated by the self-corruptness of petty politics!

Thou may or may not agree with the next text. This
text is not a matter of discussion (althout if thou wish to discuss it in that list, fell free to

The Pontifex Maximus of the Roman Patriarchate of the Western Rite of the Catolic Christianity (Yeah, it's the Pope!)
after "ONLY" 600 years, finaly begin to recognize that the church commited some "little mistakes". He even apologized for
what they had done to the Jews and to the american indians (north, south and central-american). Some priests recognize
(with the disaprovement of the Vatican) that Christianity isn't necessarily, a faith to all.
It isn't exactly a great beginning, but I have to admit that this is a beginning.
Meanwhile, they didn't apologized to us, of the Indo-European Ancient Religions and general non christian religions
(hinduism, druidism, Ásatrú-Vanatrú and much more), not even to us, of Asatru. They don't redeemed by the death of our ancestors. They didn't give back the knowledge stolen e kept on the Vatican's library. They didn't admited the atrocities done on the Niceia Council and didn't belied the alterations of the Historical records that they made about us. We want our sacred places of Our Elder Gods and Goddesses again, freed from their cursed buildings that was made by force of weaponry. We want that him (the Pope) recognize how wrong and abominable the bloody activities of the Inquisition was (was?) and
deactivacte it by an decree from a Papal-Bula or encyclic.

May it be a manifest of all Pagans and Heathens.

Feel free to redistribute this

foward again. Fell free too to distribute is as panflets if thou wish and/or transform in a petition as suggested by an Ásatrú
Forna-Seden (Elder follower of the Old Ways). May we be FREE to practise our faith without the Kristjan disturbance.

May they apologize for putting the horns of the Several Horned Gods (like Pan, Thor [in his helm], and others) on the Devil created by them and transforming it in
the supreme evil.

It's the minimun for we respect the Pope, not as Pontifex Maximus, but at least as a Humam Being.
